Of course when you call customer service the first question they ask you is, "go to the back of your modem and make sure the coax cable is screwed in all the way. Then go to the wall and make sure it's screwed in all the way there too."
I wish there was an option to bypass all of the "are you an idiot" questions.

I feel ya, I am trying to upgrade my service and it's taken 4 phone calls, 2 chats and now I'm calling to cancel my service to get the goddamn installation fee waived to upgrade my service.

I used to have terrible, terrible internet until I found out that comcast had installed the cable wire into the wrong location, using wires that were nearly 50 years old.
